Why appearances is not so important??

Appearances are somewhat important because you don't want to talk to or be seen with somebody who look dirty. But you can't always judge somebody by how the way they look. Some people could be going through some tough times. So be considerate when someone who doesn't dress as nice as you walks up to you.
